WHO IS NICOLE AUSTIN
Nicole Austin is Pharmacist, Presenter, Survivor SA S7 Runner-up, CEO, Mountaineer, and Mrs South Africa 2018. With a background as a Functional Medicine Pharmacist, she founded her NPO Uprising, a transformational trekking organization, and is also a Speaker, Model and Rare Diseases SA Ambassador.

As a pharmacist, Nicole has a passion for health and wellness. By climbing mountains with her NPO Uprising she raises funds for CHOC and Rare Diseases SA and is the presenter of Brave Matters on eNCA.
FAMILY
To Nicole, family is everything! She is a proud mom of 2 – Joshua and Tatum. At six weeks old Tatum was diagnosed with a life limiting rare disease, Cystic Fibrosis, which was a catalyst for change in her life.
BUSINESS
Nicole is a serial entrepreneur! Amongst others, she is the co-founder of The Impact Hub and Uprising and brought an international luxury magazine and events company to South Africa (hosting their biggest event to date).
